Glaucoma (kala motiya) is a disease which causes irreversible damage to eye due to increase of intraocular pressure. at first pressure is controlled with drops and if it remains uncontrolled then laser is done to open the blocked pathway and so lowering the intraocular pressure. if still the pressure remains high then glaucoma surgery is performed to lower the intraocular pressure. certain shunts can be used to give advance treatment to patients.
